Pinoyism # 004: Mirror, Mirror on the Wall
I always see this “artwork” in the morning, on my way to work. Two mirrors are placed on a white-painted wall near Reposo corner JP Rizal. It didn’t matter at all to me at first until I realized the sign on top. It’s a sarcastic warning addressed to those who pee on the wall. “Ano kaya kung ikaw ang pader at ikaw ang ihian?” It then suggested looking at the mirror perhaps as a way of revisiting your conscience. I have another take though. The mirrors dually serve as a clever safeguard away from people who wish to still take a leak and have their wang say “hello” to the world.
