Life is an iPhone # 040
Clockwise from top row:
1. Reminiscing Salad Days. While strolling along the Theater Mall in Greenhills, found this very familiar brand. There was a time when I got addicted to salad and Goolai, before booming into something like this, offers delivery (I think they still do);
2. Fresh Lumpia from Pat Lin. I got this one from Glorietta 4’s Food Choices. It’s mostly veggies and the taste is very similar to those delicacies you can get from Binondo. Cheap, accessible and satisfying at P75 each;
3. Fro-yo Invasion. I think Filipinos are becoming more and more health conscious. Proof to that is the sprouting of some frozen yogurt places like Tutti Frutti. Similar to Red Mango, you’re free to choose from any of their five flavors with a make-your-own concept. Price depends on the weight of your fro-yo;
4. Buenavista. I was about to catch “Fling” and “Noy” when I came across this lighted movie poster for the indie film “Buenavista” (which was having a premiere screening). What’s so interesting with it is that the film tackles the history of Lucena City in Quezon province. I hope to catch this during the Cinemalaya;
5. Witty Brand. Nothing fancy but I just appreciate the “Starapple” name on the right portion. I don’t know if it has something to do with our mastery with spoofing or it is just a coincidence;
6. Chinese Food Feast. At Hap Chan Tea House, shared with officemates from the 15F. Hearty as expected. Their seafood hotpot is a must-try;
