I got his autograph (finally) during the run for a retrospective of his plays called “Tatlong Tabing” for Tanghalang Pilipino last October. A friend told me that I should see his distinct writing set but I can’t complain with the orangy ink. His astonishing penmanship pretty much represents his body of work, from the Cubao series and Palanca-winning plays down to his screenplay for a “Shake, Rattle and Roll” episode. I’m a fan.
